As I write this I’m in the middle of a deadline where the only good thing about it is that I’m still on track.
I won’t claim I’m the most organized person, but I gave myself some mini-deadlines that act as good checks, making sure the book doesn’t run away from me. I needed them especially as I wanted to have some holiday fun with my family and not have to slink away to write the entire time. Oh and there’s just this small thing of my next book coming!
The Starseekers is officially out in the world, and while at times it seems odd to be celebrating as everything around me takes an interesting turn, if there’s one thing I’m good at it’s multitasking.
I can create and I can channel my rage into action. (I can even find ways to do both at the same time! )
The joys we have, the art we make, the people we care for, is what makes life worth living for and why despite everything we still rise up to protect those precious things in all the ways we can.
